Guest Guidelines for a Great Stay
At Jellystone Park™ Milton, we’re all about making your camping experience safe, clean, and filled with good memories. These guidelines help ensure every guest enjoys their stay from start to finish.
Wristbands
Your wristband is your all-access pass to everything the park has to offer. Please wear it at all times during your stay—it helps our team know you’re part of the camping family! Guests without wristbands may be asked to stop by the Ranger Station to check in. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly!
Golf Carts
Overnight guests can rent golf carts to make getting around easy and fun. You can reserve one when you book your stay or request one at check-in (based on availability).
Drivers must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license, and all carts should stay on designated roads and follow the posted speed limit.
Personal golf carts, ATVs, or other motorized vehicles aren’t permitted, except for guests with disabilities who provide proof of insurance and a valid handicap placard.
Golf carts aren’t available for day-use visitors.
Campfires
There’s nothing better than gathering around a campfire at the end of the day. Fires are welcome in the rings provided at each site—just keep them cozy, not blazing.
Please don’t bring outside firewood (it can carry unwanted pests). Firewood, color flame packs, and fire starters are all available at the Ranger Station. If a burn ban is in place, our team will let you know when you arrive so everyone can camp safely.
Pets
We love furry campers! To keep tails wagging and everyone happy, please follow these simple guidelines:
Cabins or Lodges
Select cabins and lodges are pet-friendly (based on availability). A $25 non-refundable cleaning fee per pet, per stay applies. Limit two pets per unit. Pets may not be left unattended or brought into non-pet-friendly units. A $300 cleaning fee will apply if this occurs.
RV Sites
Up to two pets are allowed per site. Please keep pets leashed, attended, and cleaned up after. Temporary fencing or pens aren’t permitted.
Tent Sites
Pets aren’t allowed at tent sites.
Aggressive Pets
For everyone’s safety, pets showing aggressive or unfriendly behavior toward others will be asked to leave the park with their owners.
Service Animals
Service animals are always welcome and may accompany their handlers anywhere in the park. They must remain under control—on a leash, harness, or reliable voice command.
Sites and Parking
- For everyone’s safety, please observe our 9½ MPH speed limit—kids are everywhere!
- Each site allows one RV or tent and up to eight guests. Please park vehicles on the gravel pad if available. Each site allows two vehicles (Lakeside Lodge may have up to four).
- Tents are only allowed in designated tent areas.
- Clotheslines, fireworks, firearms, drones, metal detectors, and vehicle repairs aren’t permitted.
Keeping It Clean
-
A clean park makes for a happy park! Dispose of gray and black water only at your site hookup or at the dump station.
-
Hoses must fit snugly to prevent leaks.
-
Generators aren’t allowed—our full-hookup sites provide all the power you’ll need.
-
Please bag trash and place it in the designated dumpsters (and keep it inside overnight—Yogi’s friends might get curious!).
-
Charcoal should be dumped into your site’s fire ring.
-
State law requires tight sewer connections using a sewer ring or donut.
Family First
We’re a family-first kind of place! Kids have the best time when a trusted adult is nearby—especially at the pool, lake, or playground. Helmets are required for bikes and scooters, and please remind the little ones to follow the speed limit too. Kindness goes a long way—thank you for helping us keep the campground friendly and fun for everyone.
Pool and Water Zone
- No lifeguards are on duty—swim carefully and keep an eye on the kids.
- Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (18+).
- Please wear proper swimwear (no cotton clothing like cutoffs or t-shirts).
- Glass containers aren’t allowed in or near the pool area.
- Wristbands are required for entry.
Fishing and Flags
You’re welcome to fish in our private lake—no license required! Just bring your gear and enjoy a peaceful afternoon by the water.
A Pennsylvania fishing license is required for nearby public lakes, rivers, or creeks.
We love seeing our guests show pride in what matters to them. Flags permitted include U.S., state, local, military, first responder, and Jellystone Park™ flags.
